Paul and I have the luxury of time to study together. We spend our morning breakfast time with more than granola, berries, and yogurt, which is what we eat. Our second cup of tea or coffee is accompanied by reading aloud to each other from various books that we like. Currently, these are our books of interest, in case you want to explore them. With Internet help, you can find out about any book instantly, so enjoy looking at the reviews and descriptions of these, maybe finding one you want to dig into for yourself.
WHO ARE YOU?
Bruce Lipton, MD said his life changed when he realized that his identity was not to be found inside his body but in the “field” outside his body. I like to stretch my thinking to realize that my spirit exists outside my body and that my body is not who I am.
COUPLES NIGHT OUT-Four Dates a Year
In 1981, Paul and I created a program for couples, using the “positive approach to human relationships”. This was a program of enrichment and enhancement, based on the activities we had found enjoyable in our own relationship. We also wanted to emphasize the positive elements and strengths within relationships rather than digging up or searching out the pain and weaknesses.
May 6, 2011 WOMEN’S WISDOM GROUP
Note from Marj–This post is written by Debra LeBlanc. Debra and Barbara Morris are now administering this group. (My intention is to create the future by wise succession planning–and this is turning out to be a good move!). Debra writes so well, Barbara keeps up with the logistics and the two of them are excellent leaders of this group, which is still going strong since 1981. Population shifts but the spirit remains. Enjoy Debra’s narrative of the fabulous meeting at Mary Davis’ lovely townhome in Boerne, TX. A good time was had by all.

CANCUN SPEECH TO LATIN AMERICAN DEALERS MEETING
March 29, 2011
Good Morning! What is the greatest resource on Planet Earth? Oil? Gold? Coal? Gas? What is the greatest resource at Interface? Yarn? Nylon? Machinery?
People are the greatest resource on this planet. At Interface, we are building a Strengths-Based Culture through our people and for our people. We follow a formula: TALENT (which is your life-long pattern of thoughts-feelings-behavior that can be productively applied) multiplied by RELATIONSHIPS (your friendships) and RECOGNITION (attention paid to what you do that is good) coupled with EXPECTATIONS (clearly set and positively designed in accord with your talents)….all of those factors will equal positive employee ENGAGEMENT. Employees who are engaged, working at what they do best will bring about engaged customers and engaged customers bring bottom line profit.
